New JAMB's Registrar unveils agenda
The
newly appointed Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation
Board (JAMB), Prof Ishaq Oloyede has formally assumed duty with a
promise to improve on the gains of the examination body.
Prof
Oloyede, who made this known in Abuja Monday during the handing over
ceremony that took place at JAMB’s headquarters, said his administration
would be anchored on five basic areas to achieve the desired goals of
the Board.
His
words: “I am inheriting a great JAMB but there is still sufficient
room for improvement so that the Board can even be greater if we all
change accordingly. My agenda will be anchored on five main crucibles.”
Oloyede,
who is the Secretary General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for
Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), listed the focal areas to include welfare,
discipline, transparency, networking and technology.
