Excl: Dream Team land in Lagos tonight
The Nigerian U23 team will arrive Nigeria today, following their Bronze medal finish at the just concluded Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil.
The team departed Belo Horizonte last night aboard a South Africa Airways flight, and will touch down at the Oliver Tambo international airport in Johannesburg this morning, before connecting a flight to Lagos.
They will leave the OR Tambo international airport at 2.50pm, and will land at the Murtala Muhammed international airport at 8.10pm.
The team will then proceed to Abuja on Tuesday morning, where they are expected to be welcomed by the sports ministry and the Nigeria Football Federation.
However, not all the players who partook at the Games are returning with the team, and as fcnaija.com already reported, skipper John Obi Mikel has already left the team and returned to London, to team up with his club, Chelsea.
Nigeria beat Honduras 3-2 to win the Bronze medal on Saturday.
