Barcelona star Lionel Messi took to his instagram page to express his anger and frustrations at the Argentina Football Association (AFA) after the team’s flight to New Jersey was delayed.

The 29-year-old was less than impressed after the flight from Houston grounded ahead of Sunday’s Copa America Centenario final against Chile in New Jersey and blamed it on the poor organization of his country’s football association.
The current all-time leading goalscorer for Argentina did not hold back his frustration as he used social media to get his message across.
“Once again waiting on a plane to leave for our destination,” Messi wrote.
“What a disaster the AFA are. My god!”
The Argentinian FA responded to Messi’s instagram post in a statement that read: “The Argentine Football Federation informs that the flight which is transporting the national team to New Jersey suffered a delayed departure due to weather issues.
“Also, the AFA advises that all of the scheduled times of the transfers are designated by the organisers of the Copa America Centenario.”
Argentina last won a major title 23 years ago and after two loses in consecutive finals – Chile who deprived them last time is again in the way of Messi leading his country to a major title win when both clash in a rematch of last year’s Copa America final at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
