It's morning yet on creation day for Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah @ 45

From Onitsha, Correspondent THEO RAYS writes that the world ain’t seen nothing yet (to borrow an American expression) about Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah as this intense, go-getting, high-achieving businessman clocks 45
Last Saturday was another day of glory for the Chairman/CEO of Capital Oil and Gas Ltd., Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah (Ebube Chukwu Uzo Nnewi) who is also the chairman/publisher of the trail blazing print medium and Nigeria’s fastest growing national daily, The AUTHORITY, as he clocked 45 years in his earthly sojourn.
To the Nnewi-born business tycoon who is also the proprietor of FC Ifeanyi Ubah Football Club of Nnewi, the story of his 45 years on earth is a spectacular one, which is not only good to be told to the whole world but also very interesting to listen to. Since he came into the limelight in Nigeria as a big-dealing, multi-tasking entrepreneur, he has demonstrated the quality of a man specially created by God to help humanity get better and make better things.
From business to philanthropy, socio-political advocacy to sports promotion and general sponsorship, every news about what Dr. Ubah does speaks of a wonderful man who is immensely gifted and has perfectly utilized his gift to prosper humanity. For, one thing is to be gifted, another is to utilize the gift. In his case, Ifeanyi Ubah manipulates his gift in so positive a way that anything he touches moves to the next level in success.
For such a man, his relations, associates, friends and well-wishers have every reason to celebrate him. Which is exactly what happened at the weekend, on Saturday, September 3, when Dr. Ubah’s relations, friends, associates and well-wishers rolled out drums to celebrate him in special way as he clocked 45 years on planet earth.
To his relations, associates, friends and well-wishers, nothing is enough to do in celebrating a man who has achieved so much at 45, especially in a country like Nigeria where business appears not to enjoy a favorable environment.
Indeed, celebrating Ifeanyi Ubah is a way of appreciating God for His immense love upon his life. It is also a way of appreciating Dr. Ubah’s special qualities and attributes that have distinguished him from the crowd as an exceptional achiever who has contributed immensely to the development and progress of the human family.
There is no gainsaying that Dr. Ubah represents everything that is good in a man and interestingly enough, he has made adequate use of those great qualities and attributes that God endowed him with while he was coming into existence on earth.
To those who know him very well, Ebube Chukwu Uzo Nnewi (if you put God first) is a man gifted with invaluable instinct and foresight, a power broker, goal getter, skillful manager and an achiever who fears God and loves humanity. To define him in ecclesiastic manner, he is a man of light and perfection who brings perfect change into everything he does by introducing and injecting workable new ideas and knowledge.
His massive achievements in the highly competitive business of oil and gas within a short period of time is not unconnected with his innovative ideas and good knowledge of that business, powered by his immeasurable instinct, foresightedness and good managerial skills. Innovation and hard-work are of course his watchwords and guiding force
Dr. Ubah gives light to everything he lays his hands on and galvanizes it to perfection as well, using the instrumentalities of inno

vative ideas and good knowledge. An encounter with him changes lives. Lives and places change automatically on encounter with Ifeanyi Ubah. Thus, he has changed lives of uncountable number of individuals, families, groups like Christian churches, non-governmental organizations, social clubs, political parties, journalists’ unions and what have you.
Only those who are close to him can give accurate account of how he goes about changing lives and places through his business, philanthropy, advocacy, promotion and all-round sponsorships using his personal, hard-earned resources.
Last year, he made attempts to change the face and system of Nigerian politics for the better by introducing a non-governmental organization known and called Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN). TAN, many thanks to the founder’s good ideas, had a wonderful vision and plans to fight poverty in Nigeria and halt or reduce it to the barest minimum.
Driven by goodwill, TAN, with the possible backing of the presidency, had made good and workable plans to establish what it called industrial parks in each of the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria. The parks, according to the founder of TAN, would have provided enough job opportunities for the people, especially youths, across the country.
Nigerians lost the opportunity of having such a wonderful establishment in the six zones of the federation with attendant massive job opportunities, especially the youth, following the exit of former President Goodluck Jonathan who lost last year’s presidential election to Muhammadu Buhari.
Apart from the botched industrial parks, TAN, courtesy of its founder, also had workable plans for peace to reign in Nigeria as never before, among other good packages aimed at driving the country to the next level. Those who monitored the activities of the defunct TAN through its massive media outreach during the 2015 election campaign, would testify that the NGO had many good things to offer the people of this country.
The death of TAN notwithstanding, the man behind the mask Dr. Patrick Ifenayi Uba is still alive and just 45 for that matter. A vision is not dead when the bearer is alive. In that case, what is needed to resurrect all that TAN had in content and in scope is to give the founder the opportunity to bring out what he had in mind in introducing the NGO, which was widely accepted by the people.
To tell the world that what he had in mind through TAN is possible, Dr. Ubah is building what he called Nnewi Sports City with targeted massive job opportunities for the people, especially, again, the youth. Comparably, the Nnewi Sports City project is nowhere near the proposed industrial parks, which goes a long way to showcase what Nigerians are missing by ignoring Ifeanyi Ubah’s vision with TAN.
It is important to note that Nigeria as a country needs what TAN proposed to do, especially now that it looks as if those at the helm of affairs don’t have something better. On the other hand, it is also important to note that if Ifeanyi Ubah could articulate wonderful projects capable of changing lives as a businessman, then he would certainly do better if given a wider platform to experiment those lofty ideas. And for the fact that he is just 45, Ndi Anambra in particular and Nigerians in general haven’t seen nothing yet, to borrow an American slang.
So, the challenge for Ebube Chukwu Uzo Nnewi now is how and what platform to use to translate into realities what he has upstairs, for the development and progress of the people of Anambra and Nigeria as a whole. How can he get the people to buy into his socio-political ideas and knowledge and understand that what he has upstairs is good enough to better their lot? How can he get Ndi Anambra to look his way, to take him seriously and allow him to unleash his prodigious intellect and organizational know-how on socio-economic re-engineering of the state that is home to easily the most talented set of human beings on earth?
Ndi Anambra and Nigeria have to be clear about what they want: as they say in these shores, they have to ‘shine their eyes’ to be know whence cometh their savior. They may just be looking in the right direction if they look towards Ebube Chukwu Uzo Nnewi.

Happy birthday and many happy returns, Chairman.
