Zidane sets new career milestone
Real Madrid coach Zinédine Zidane on Tuesday became just the fifth coach to win the UEFA Super Cup having also lifted the trophy as a player.
Zidane achieved the feat after leading his team to a 3-2 win over Europa League champions Sevilla in Norway in extra time thanks to a late solo effort from Dani Cavjal inside the final two minutes of the extrat time second period.
The 1998 World Cup winner with France helped Juve to a 6-1 defeat of Paris Saint-Germain 20 years ago, and also started as Madrid prevailed 3-1 against Feyenoord in 2002. Won as a coach in Trondheim.
The only other four players who have won as a player and coach ahead of Zidane as revealed by UEFA.com include:
Carlo Ancelotti: Beat Sampdoria as a player, before one victory against Porto and two against Sevilla as a coach.
