EPL | #Wengerout at Arsenal is too early

What was different between the Arsenal team of 2014 to the one that started the league last Sunday with a loss to Liverpool? Nothing!
They say that the more things change, the more they stay the same – Arsene Wenger is not going to change overnight nor will the owner, Stan Kroenke, or the board metamorphose into what they are not.
Arsenal fans must get it into their thick skulls that Wenger and his board are not out to win the English Premier League or the UEFA Champions League – they are composed to be a practical business entity, to make money and declare a profit for their share holders.

After the loss, which saw many fans leave the Emirates before the end and the subsequent boos, Wenger said Arsenal players were “undercooked”, and that he did not know when they would be well “cooked”.
So how should the Gunners read this – this way or that way? Don’t forget, that they lost 2-0 to West Ham on the opening day last season – yet they still managed to finish second. And there in lies the problem.
Many believe that Wenger ‘IjebuMan’ has money and should splash on some players – especially in defensive and attacking positions even though board chairman, Ivan Gazidis has plainly stated that they would not be outgunning any of their rivals for any player.
“We can’t afford to make huge mistakes in the transfer market. We can’t afford to outgun competitors that have far more money to splurge on transfer fees than we do.”
Wenger has always succeeded, no matter the initial problems and a Tottenham surge, to get his team into the Champions League but in his last year of his present contract – that stat could well change at the end of the season.
Wenger himself has described this year’s EPL as “a little bit like a world championship of managers” because “all the best managers come to England to make our lives even more difficult.”
So Arsenal lost their first game of the season – not the worst opening day defeat; so they had two players injured in the match, well, Wenger has a player getting injured every 33 minutes of his 20-year reign; so really what is new?
That they did not spend? No, because they spent £34million on Switzerland midfielder Granit Xhaka. Despite an opening day loss to West Ham last season, Wenger led his side to a second place – their best finish for 11 years so guys take heart, you could still end up in a good place – but that is left for Wenger and his board to determine!
Though I would give this tip to any Gooner, if you want to keep supporting this [your] club, then buy some shares and get a share of the profits. That way you will have your heart broken but your pocket filled!
