Baba Rahman undergoing Schalke medical
Report according to Sky Sport says Rahman is set to become the latest young player to leave Stamford Bridge this summer following earlier exits of Nathan Ake, Charly Musonda and Lewis Baker.
The 22-year old left-back joined Chelsea from Augsburg only last summer, signing a five-year deal at the club, and provided cover for first-choice left-back Cesar Azpilicueta last season.
The Ghana international made 23 appearances in all competitions for the Blues during the 2015/16 campaign, but has been deemed surplus to requirements by new head coach Antonio Conte who is currently shaping his squad ahead of his first season at Chelsea.
Before making the switch to England, Rahman spent three years in Germany, two seasons at Bundesliga 2 side Greuther Furth, where he made 48 appearances, scoring twice.
The Ghana international then moved to Bundesliga side Augsburg in August 2014 and impressed during his only season at the club, playing 31 times before completing a move to Chelsea.
