Arsenal without 3 key players for Liverpool clash

Arsenal will be without Mesut Ozil, Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny for their Premier League opener against Liverpool.
All three players are yet to resume training after their Euro 2016 exertions, The UK Mirror reports.
It now means Arsene Wenger will be without four key senior players for the start of the season, with Per Mertesacker already ruled out with a long term injury.

“The Liverpool game will come too early for them,” Wenger said after the big win over Vikings, in reference to the players in question.
It also means the Gunners will be without a recognized striker for the Liverpool clash, even though Theo Walcott is available and could play up front in the absence of Giroud.
They also have Chuba Akpom, Joel Campbell and Alex Iwobi as their other attacking options.
However, it is not just in attack that they appear to have concerns, as they must also deal with the absence of two of their senior defenders.
Only Gabriel is the senior central defender available, while Calum Chambers and new signing Rob Holding are also available.
It is not all gloom at the Emirates however, as Jack Wilshere has returned to training.
“[Jack] Wilshere has started to run today so it’s very short-term. He will train with us next week,” Wenger confirmed.
