Arsenal goalkeeper Ospina opens up on exit claims

Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina has dismissed media speculation linking him with a move to Turkish club Besiktas.
With Wojciech Szczesny expected to re-join Roma on loan, Ospina who rarely featured for Arsenal last season following the arrival of Petr Cech could be an asset to Arsene Wenger in providing cover for the former Chelsea safe hands.

“I have a contract with Arsenal, I’m happy with the team.
“We are fighting for the top of the league. Now we have two weeks until we start the season. These friendlies serve us very well.” The goalkeeper told the Evening Standard
Ospina’s spell on the bench included a four-month period where he failed to make a first team appearance following an error against Olympiakos in the Champions League.
The Colombian however started in Arsenal’s pre-season game on Sunday, in a 3-1 win against Chivas and made his future clear afterwards.
Besiktas president Fikret Orman recently publicly stated his desire to capture the 27-year-old.
“Arsenal want a lot for him so we may have to look for alternatives,. I do want Ospina and we are going to get a foreign keeper.” Orman said as quoted on Sky Sport.
