We’re ready for Germany – Arsenal striker Giroud

Arsenal man Olivier Giroud says his French side are well prepared for the semi-final ticket battle against World Champions Germany on Thursday.
Germany are now just two wins away from following in Spain’s path of winning two tournaments in a row but first they must overcome Giroud and his troops at a semi-final showdown at the Stade Vélodrome.

“We really wanted a good start, we were efficient right from the beginning, focused, applied.
“It’s a good thing that we corrected the clight mistake we had been making since we started. We were playing with the breaks on.
“I hope we’ll do the same on Thursday against Die Mannschaft. So yes, this is a good message that we sent, It means we’re ready.”

Meanwhile the Arsenal man who struck twice as France progressed to the semi-final by beating minnows Iceland 5-2 could miss the tie against Germany after suffering a reported knee injury ahead of the Euro semi-final encounter.
Giroud required treatment on Tuesday while others trained but took part in a light session on Wednesday. He has played every game for France except the draw with Switzerland.
