Osimhen returns with a bang from injury

Victor Osimhen is back with a bang; netting the winning goal for the Nigeria U20 team, the Flying Eagles as they secured a 2-1  win over City Strikers in a friendly game in Abuja Tuesday evening.
Osimhen’s return to action was a big relief to the Flying Eagles technical crew as the player again showed his importance in the latest win for the Coach Emmanuel Amunke tutored side
The City Strikers gave the Flying Eagles a run for their money even though they had to chase the game all through with Gavin Thompson giving the Nigeria U20s the lead inside the first 30 seconds.

Osimhen fresh from injury then blasted what will later prove to be the match winner in the 21st minute.
City Strikers, who are coached by former Nigeria U20 star Peter Ogaba, pulled a goal back in the second half through Ikenna Christopher.
The Flying Eagles who defeated Burundi in last round of the qualifiers are now scheduled to fly out to Sudan for a final U20 AFCON qualifying playoff on Thursday morning via Ethiopian Airlines.
The Sudan Vs Nigeria match will kick off 8pm Sunday night.
