Mourinho set for his first press conference as Man Utd boss

Jose Mourinho will be formally unveiled as Manchester United’s new manager later on Tuesday morning in front of what is expected to be a packed media centre.
Even though Mourinho officially began work at the AON Training Complex on Monday, he has been busy behind the scenes for some weeks. He faces the press for the first time since officially taking over at Manchester United later this morning by 11:00am.

When Mourinho speaks, everyone listens. During his first spell as Chelsea boss, he called himself the “Special One” and on his return to the Stamford Bridge after spells at Inter Milan and Real Madrid, he said he was the “Happy One”. It remains to be seen what catch phrases, slogans or names for himself the Portuguese will be rolling out later today?
It will be the former Chelsea manager’s first public function since he was confirmed as Louis van Gaal’s successor in May.
The Portuguese is charged with the responsibility of resurrecting the FA Cup holders’ title-winning fortunes following last season’s disappointing fifth-placed Premier League finish and their failure to secure Champions League qualification.
The press conference comes early in what could be a busy week as Mourinho familiarizes himself with the set-up and looks to finalize the signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
