Just in!! Watford reject N15bn Ighalo bid from Chinese club

Watford have rejected a £37.5m bid from Chinese Super league (CSL) side Shanghai SIPG for topscorer Odion Ighalo.
The Nigeria has been on the radar of the Chinese team since the start of last season and a massive bid in January also suffered rejection with the Super Eagles forward choosing to remain at Vicarage Road.
However, after ending the season with 16 Premier League goals the Chinese club are back for his services after sealing the signature of Brazilian forward Hulk on Wednesday.

Shanghai already have in their Arsenal Ghana Captain Asamoah Gyan and are hoping to add Ighalo with a weekly package of £300,000 but Watford are unwilling to sell.
It is believed that the Chinese team will return with an improved bid as money is no problem for the Asians after the league’s president claimed that they are rich enough to buy any player in the world including Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ighalo had a fantastic partnership in attack with Watford Captain Troy Deeney but it looks increasingly likely that the Nigerian may move on this summer.
But the Nigerian presence will still be felt at the club even if Ighalo leaves as compatriot Isaac Success just joined Watford on a £12.5m deal from Spanish La Liga side Granada.
