U20 AFCON Qualifier: Amuneke confident of Flying Eagles’ win

Nigeria U20 coach Emmanuel Amuneke is confident they will scale past their Burundian counterparts when both sides meet later today.
The Flying Eagles host the Yellow Swallows of Burundi in a second round, second leg Africa U20 Cup of Nations following a narrow 1-0 win in the first leg in Bujumbura over a fortnight ago in Bujumbura.
And the Nigeria coach says it is a game they can win to progress.

“We have to be confident in our abilities because nobody will believe in us if we don’t believe in ourselves,” he said.
“It is important we have that confidence that we can win and we have to believe that always.”
The former Barcelona star however stated that they must not be carried away and must show respect to their opponents.
“We cannot afford to be too confident because the Burundians are also playing to win.
“Everybody wants to go to the tournament proper and it is only normal that they will come here and try to upset us but we must remain focused,” he added.
The game will come up at the UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar and start from 4pm local time.
