Transfer Updates | Chelsea holding out for more cash on striker

Antonio Conte, Chelsea’s new manager is said to have sanctioned the sale of Diego Costa back to Atletico Madrid.
The Spanish striker signed from Atletico two seasons ago has had a mixed time in England. From winning the Barclays Premier League in his first season to being cast as one of the villains that ended up getting Jose Mourinho sacked.

Costa has been snubbed by Spain coach, Vicente del Bosque, and seems to be intent on returning ‘home’ to the Vicente Calderon.
Roman Abramovich paid £32million for the abrasive forward and Chelsea want to make a £7million profit before agreeing the deal.
Costa scored just five league goals in the league before Mourniho was sacked and 12 in total for the season.
