Transfer news: Pogba agrees N8.9b Real Madrid offer
France international Paul Pogba has reportedly agreed a
five-year, €40m contract with Real Madrid, leaving only a fee to be
negotiated with Juventus.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Real Madrid President Florentino Perez and the player’s representative Mino Raiola met several days ago to discuss a contract for Pogba, in the event that a deal could be agreed with Juve, and those talks appear to have reached a satisfactory outcome.
Pogba is reportedly Madrid’s main objective in the transfer market this summer, Los Blancos having managed to push back their embargo and identified the Frenchman as their next Galactico.
However, the Bianconeri could be holding out for as much as €120m, a fee Madrid are not believed to be willing on forking out.
