Ramadan's important and everlasting reward

It is more or less a news that Muslims are in the holy months of Ramadan of the Islamic year 1437 in the Islamic calender and year 2016 of the Gregory calender. Gradually the fasting period is moving to an end. However, the Chief Missioner of NASFAT Abuja branch, Sheik Sharafdeen Abd.salam Aliagan and the Ratib Imam of NASFAT central mosque Mallam Saliman Ibraheem explains the important of the holy months and it’s reward hereafter. Kafayat Olarinde reports.

Ramadan is one of the months in Islamic calender which is the ninth month and a month in which Allah (SWA) send his holy Quran to the word for guidance. Chief Missioner of NASFAT Abuja branch Sheik Alh Sharafdeen Abd.salam Aliagan and Mallam Saliman Ibraheem the propritor of MIFTAUS SALAMAT ACADEMY GALADIMAWA ABUJA and THE RATIB IMAM OF NASFAT CENTRAL MOSQUE UTAKO ABUJA had given a clear explanation of the important of the holy months of Ramadan recently in a chat with the Authority. Ramadan is third pillar of Islam, Allah (SWA) had call on those who believe to fast during the holy month of Ramadan for a reward in this life and hereafter. Ramadan is an obligatory and compulsory for e every muslim all over the globe to partake and he who denied Ramadan will be punished by Allah. Allah call on his believers in ,one of the surah in the holy Quran, surah Baqarah he said “ yah ayhu alhadina -amhanu khutiba alahikum ssiyha-khama khutiba alhaladinah-minqoblikum tanthaqum-laqtarhun” meaning “ oh! I call upon those who believe, I have made fasting compulsory for you has it is for those before you”. And the only way to answer and obey the call of Allah is by fasting sincerely during the month of Ramadan.
Fasting has been compelled for the believers only to feel what the poor felt and to give their heart back to the Almighty and seek for forgiveness of the sins which Allah (SWA) had promised that he who far diligently and sincerely during the month of Ramadan will be rewarded abundantly and will have their sins forgiven.
In the preceding verses, Quran has spelt out in Quran 2vs 183,184 “mahkannah-minqum -morhidun aw-hawal-safari-fahmindolan -min- hayal – huqho-fahla lhadinaa -fihdahun musqhin” meningitis Allah (SWA) has make fasting exceptional for some set of Muslims. If he or she embarked on a long journey , or someone who has an ailment that can not be cured, also a nursing mother, pregnant woman or a menstruating woman and those that have reached a certain age in life that there health can no longer accommodate hunger. And for anyone who is healthy and didn’t fall victim of the aforementioned exceptional Muslims will be punished by Allah and not by any human, because Allah(SWA) can give judgment and punish his creature.
Whoever says no to fasting during the month of Ramadan is recognised to be a “khafir” meaning “disbeliever” and is tantamount to Allah’s punishment and he who ever deliberately break his/her fast during the month of Ramadan will such a person will come out with “khafarah” meaning to atone for that particular offence.
The chief Missioner in his speech, explains how one can atone to a fast break deliberately. To some school of thought, if the person deliberately break eat during fasting period, some say that person have to pay “khafarah” and some say he can just pay back the fast by fasting for sixty days consecutively after Ramadan or by feeding sixty needy or free a slave.
According to him “Khafarah” is an Arabic word meaning “to atone”. It is a remedy for anyone who deliberately break his fast through any means and the aforementioned punishment are ways to atone.
Generally, every Muslims believer must be able to keep his or her self busy during the month of Ramadan and do away with any act of sins by moving close to Allah(SWA) . Observing of five daily solar, paying sakat, having strong believe in Allah(SWA) and his prophet Muhammad Rosululahi(SAW) a Muslim must be doing daily even before Ramadan but these must increased to indicate truly we are in the months of Ramadan.
However, Muslims have to increased their intention and devotions that is, the act of ibadah, sadaqah, showing mercy to the needy, frequent feeding of the holy Quran. Also a true believer must purify his or her soul during the holy month of Ramadan by keeping off with any bad intention.
Allah (SWA) has compelled every Muslims to fast during the month of Ramadan to ask for forgiveness of their sins and to experience hungry in other to feel what the poor felt. Secondly, to purify the souls and abstain from any kind of sins. Because during this holy month a truly believer will have a mind set that goes against any kind of sins and the best way to do these is when the five senses of organs are also fasting. The sight for seeing, the nose for smelling, the tongue for tasting, the brain for thinking and move far away from sexual intercourse during Ramadan.
The prophet Rosululahi (SAW) says whoever fast diligently and sincerely during the month of Ramadan will be rewarded abundantly . Firstly, he will gain admission of paradise, also, a god, faithful Muslims who fast I the holy month of Ramadan will have his or her sins forgiven. And will receive more blessings, favour from Allah. And will enjoy the pleasure of Allah because it is an act of obedience. May Allah accept our ibadah. Ameen.
