PSG to make £45m bid for Coutinho
French Champions Paris Saint-Germain are set to summit a £45m bid for Liverpool’s midfield maestro Philippe Coutinho this summer, according to Le Sport 10.
The Brazilian international has been outstanding for the Anfield side since he joined from Inter Milan and already attracting interest from Bayern Munich and Manchester City.
But, PSG are determined to blow every other club away with a massive £45m bid for the 23-year-old as they look to strengthen their squad for a push for the UEFA Champions League title after dominating the domestic scene in France for the past four Seasons.
The report adds that the Parisians are keen to finalise the deal immediately after Coutinho’s campaign with Brazil in the Copa America.
Coutinho scored eight goals and added five assists in 26 Premier League for the Reds which earned him the club’s Player of the Season Award.
PSG will be without Zlatan Ibrahimovic for next season after the Swedish star announced that he is leaving the club at the end of the season.
