Mourinho, Guardiola get First Manchester Derby date

Fierce rivals Jose Mourinho and Pep Guradiola will take a go at themselves in the first installment of the Manchester derby on September 10, 2016 official Premier League fixtures released on Wednesday indicate.
Both Mangers are new with their clubs as Mourinho comes in as replacement for the sacked Louis Van Gaal and Guardiola for Manuel Pellegrini.
The first Manchester derby will be taking place at Old Trafford on September 10 with the return game at the Etihad Stadium on February 25.

Interestingly, it is all squared in the last five Manchester derby; with City taking two wins same as United and the fifth tie ending in a draw.
As indicated in the fixture, Mourinho will be starting his reign with the Red Devils in the League with a trip to Bournemouth  while Guardiola’s first league game as City manager is at home to Sunderland.
Indeed, there was plenty of controversy and animosity when Guardiola and Mourinho went head-to-head while coaching top Spanish sides;  Barcelona and Real Madrid, respectively, from 2010-2013, with incidents on and off the field.
Already Mourinho has promised he would not take a dig at Guardiola.
Meanwhile some  eye-popping games will see Mourinho return back at Stamford Bridge on October 22 – a week after United play Liverpool at Anfield.
United play Sunderland at home on Boxing Day, Middlesbrough at home on New Year’s Eve and West Ham away on January 2.
Leicester plays Man United in the Community Shield on Aug.7, the traditional curtain-raiser for the English season between the previous season’s league champion and FA Cup winner.
