Lewandowski desperate for Real Madrid move
Poland international Robert Lewandowski is ready to force a move away from Bayern Munich this summer with Real Madrid looking to take him away from the Allianz Arena.
Lewandowski’s agent Cezary Kucharski confirmed that talks have been held with the Champions League winners but no deal have been struck with Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge insisting that the former Dortmund forward would not be allowed to leave the Allianz Arena in this summer’s transfer window.
“One thing I know for sure: Robert Lewandowski will play at Bayern Munich the next season,” he told Kicker. “No one must have any thoughts about that. The decision is like this: We will not give Robert Lewandowski to another club, no matter what they offer to us. We have no breaking point with Robert.”
The 27-year-old is one of the hottest strikers in Europe at the moment and in the final season of Pep Guardiola at Bayern he scored 42 goals in 51 appearances to earn the season as topscorer in the Bundesliga.
According to AS, Lewandowski is desperate for a move to the Bernabeu and will attempt to force a move after already agreeing personal terms with the Zinedine Zidane team.
Lewandowski who has scored all 67 times in 100 appearances for Bayern Munich has a current contract at Bayern Munich that runs until the summer of 2019.
