Ighalo hails Utaka as the real ‘goal machine’

Watford goalscoring sensation Odion Ighalo has hailed former Nigerian international Peter Utaka as the real goal machine following the latter’s visit to his home in England. 
The 32-year-old currently plays for Sanfrecce Hiroshima on loan from Japanese side Shimizu S-Pulse and have so far scored nine goals in his ten appearances for the club in yet another prolific season  in Asia.

Peter who is the younger brother of former Super Eagles star man John Utaka and has enjoyed some outstanding goalscoring run in his career notably at Belgian side Royal Antwerp FC in 2007 where he emerged top scorer with 22 goals and capped his glorious season, winning the Best Striker’s Award.
That earned him a move the following season to Danish club OB for an undisclosed fee and his goals again made all the difference as he finished with 18 goals in 33 matches, the first time in five years an OB player was top scorer in the league (last was Steffen Højer in 2004–05 with 20 goals).
He did not rest on rely on past glory in his first stint in Asia football with Dalian Aerbin as he scored 20 times in 28 appearances and created a new record as the first player ever to score in 11 consecutive matches.

Ighalo was Watford’s topscorer in the just concluded English Premier League with 15 goals.
