Four Nigerians survive squad trimming at Chelsea

2014/15 Premier League Champions Chelsea have laid off four players in a list made available to the league’s official website while four Nigerians at the club have been retained by the Blues.
Super Eagles trio John Obi Mikel, Victor Moses who spent last season on loan at West Ham United, Kenneth Omeruo who returns to the Bridge after a season loan spell at Turkish side Kasimpasa and a certain Ugbo Ike have all survived the chop.

Premier League rules requires that all clubs submit their retained and released lists to the Premier League by the third Saturday in May and a list on the EPL website revealed that Amelia Marco, Musonda, Tika Kafusha and Wright Kevin have all been released by the club.
Please note that players signified as released by a club on the expiry of their contract on 30 June 2016, could still remain there next season and so this list should not be seen as definitive for players leaving their club.
