Euro 2016: Del Bosque admits Spain recklessness

Spain national team head coach Vicente del Bosque says he is aware of the fact that his lads were wasteful in the final third during Monday’s clash against Czech Republic.
Bosque admits La Rojas “found it difficult to score” against Czech Republic on Monday as “we had a little hiccup with the centre-forwards”.
Del Bosque’s men dominated their opening match of Euro 2016 but only had Gerard Pique’s late header to show for it as neither Alvaro Morata nor Aritz Aduriz were able to stake their claim for La Roja’s No 9 jersey.

“We took the initiative, but we weren’t successful [in front of goal] until the final moments [of the game].
“It’s true that we found it difficult to score. It was tough to go ahead, but from an Andres cross, Gerard did wonderfully.
“We had a little hiccup with the centre-forwards, but in the end we won. I do not know if it’ll be enough, but with these three points, we have a cushion [atop Group D]. I’m happy for everyone.” Bosque said in a post-match conference as quoted on Espana.
