Dortmund sign Barcelona defender
Borussia Dortmund on Saturday confirmed the signing of Barcelona’s centre-back Marc Bartra as replacement for Germany defender Mats Hummels on a four-year contract.Dortmund in a statement through the club’s director of sport Michael Zorc said: “We have agreed (terms) with the player and only a few details remain to be cleared up.” Zorc told German daily Bild.
Barcelona have also announced that the German club Bhave informed them of their desire to activate the buy out clause for the player Marc Bartra, according to which the Club is obliged to facilitate the transfer of the player for the price of 8 million euros.
“The German club has expressed their desire to activate the central defender’s buy out clause of 8 million euros and FC Barcelona will facilitate the transfer.
“FC Barcelona wish Marc Bartra all the best in his new phase of his career as a player and he will be invited to say goodbye to the fans personally at the start of next season.” Barcelona stated on its official website.
