CIIN President restates commitment to professionalism From Edet Udoh
The President/Chairman of Council, Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), Lady Isioma Chukwuma has said that her administration was committed to ensuring professionalism in the practice of insurance in Nigeria.
Chukwuma who was speaking at a press conference in Lagos said that her administration was commitment to consolidating on the achievements and ideals of her predecessors to further improve the Institute and the national economy.
The president who used the occasion to give account of her 11 months stewardship as the 47th President of the institute, said the bad economic situation of the country affected the institute’s level of performance during the period.
She said apart from vigorously pursuing her 11 points agenda, entitled: “Consolidating the Gains of the Industry for National Economic Growth,” she has also touched other areas including the appointment of Mr. Richard Borokini as Director-General of the Institute as well as that of Mrs. Obianuju Elizabeth Ndubuisi-Chukwu as the Deputy Director-General of the Institute.
