CIIN President restates commitment to professionalism From Edet Udoh

The President/Chairman of Council, Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), Lady Isioma Chukwuma has said that her administration was commit­ted to ensuring professional­ism in the practice of insur­ance in Nigeria.
Chukwuma who was speak­ing at a press conference in Lagos said that her adminis­tration was commitment to consolidating on the achieve­ments and ideals of her prede­cessors to further improve the Institute and the national econ­omy.

The president who used the occasion to give account of her 11 months stewardship as the 47th President of the institute, said the bad economic situa­tion of the country affected the institute’s level of performance during the period.
She said apart from vigorous­ly pursuing her 11 points agen­da, entitled: “Consolidating the Gains of the Industry for Na­tional Economic Growth,” she has also touched other areas in­cluding the appointment of Mr. Richard Borokini as Director-General of the Institute as well as that of Mrs. Obianuju Eliza­beth Ndubuisi-Chukwu as the Deputy Director-General of the Institute.
