CAF CL: Amuneke backs Enyimba to beat former club, Zamalek

Enyimba players celebrates with manager Paul Aigbogun
Flying Eagles Coach Emmanuel Amuneke has thrown his weight behind Nigeria’s flag bearers in the CAF Champions League, Enyimba FC to beat his former club Zamalek FC in their opening group game in Port Harcourt this weekend.
Amuneke who played for Zamalek between 1991 -1994 and also won the Champions League with the Egyptian giants posited that with hard work and purposefulness, Enyimba should be able to scale the Zamlek hurdle even though he warned that Peoples’ Elephant should brace themselves up for a difficult game.

“The truth of the matter is that it is not going to be easy for Enyimba; having the privilege to play the first game against Zamlek which is a team that is organised, structured and standard team but of course they are beatable,” the former African Footballer of the Year stated
“Enyimba have to believe in themselves and have to work hard and they have to try as much as possible to minimise their errors.
“You know when you  play a big team and present any weakness they will punish you. Nothing is real but every is possible in life” He added.
