AMAA 2016: Mike Ezuruonye, Chris Attoh, Kgopedi Lilokoe, confirmed as hosts

Considered the most presti­gious awards in the Africa movie industry, the orga­nizers of the 2016 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) event has unveiled top Filmic acts; Mike Ezuruonye and Chis Attoh, alongside South Africa’s radio host Kgopedi Lilokoe as host for the upcoming awards night.

AMAA 2016, which is to take place in PortHarcourt on the 11th of June, will be attended by numerous media executives, ce­lebrities, politicians, journalists, actresses and actors from across the world.

Initiated by Peace Anyiam-Osigwe in 2005, and organized by the African Movie Academy, its objective geared towards pro­moting African films, uniting Africa through film, develop­ing young film makers, creat­ing distribution channels, and establishing rural cinemas. The awards are aimed at honouring and promoting excellence in the African movie industry as well as uniting the African continent through arts and culture.
