Yaya Toure set to turn down big money move to China

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is ready to turn down a £30million contract in China to extend his career in the Premier League, according to the Daily Mail.
Jiangsu Suning are one of three Chinese clubs thought to have targeted Toure, and are prepared to make the Manchester City midfielder one of the highest-paid players in the world.
Their offer would take Toure’s earnings to £577,000 a week after tax, doubling the £240,000 he currently earns at the Etihad, and putting him third in the list of top earners behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

 Toure has not given up hope of staying at the Etihad beyond this summer despite speculation that the arrival of new manager Pep Guardiola will signal his departure.
Guardiola was in charge of Barcelona when Toure left the Nou Camp in 2010 to join City in a £24m deal, but there is said to be no issue between the two men and Toure would be happy to play under the Spaniard again.
However, if City decide to call time on his six-year career at the club, he will pursue other options in the Premier League rather than accept a bumper deal in the Far East.
