Road crash: 1 killed, 4 others injured

One person was feared killed yes­terday at Mmili Mpoto behind Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia when some members of Anambra State taskforce blocked the road to catch a suspected fleeing vehicle who failed to pay for his emblem.

The accident involving a trailer and a commuter bus had others injured even as officials of the FRSC and the Nigerian police were at the scene when The AU­THORITY visited.

 Details of the accident was sketchy as nobody was willing to speak but the bus was highly damaged.

This is coming as the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and Toronto Hos­pital Onitsha have agreed to collaborate on the treatment of road traffic crash victims.
