Eto’o’s plane denied take-off at Port Harcourt airport

Former African footballer of the year Samuel Eto’o has had a hard time leaving Nigeria after playing at the Joseph Yobo testimonial in Port Harcourt, according to multiple sources.
Eto’o was in Nigeria for the Yobo testimonial in Port Harcourt, and fcnaija,com understands his private jet couldn’t leave the Port Harcourt airport immediately after the game as airport officials reportedly claimed he didn’t have permission to land at the airport.
Fcnaija.com also understands the Cameroonian was fined, but it remains unclear if the situation has now been resolved.
