Arsenal hand Iwobi new shirt number

Alex Iwobi who had an impressive half season for Arsenal in the just concluded 2015/16 season will swap his No 45 shirt for the 17 last worn by Alexis Sanchez who now wears the iconic number seven made available following the departure of Tomas Rosicky.
Fans of Iwobi who was on parade for the Super Eagles in Friday’s victory over Mali in an  international friendly fixture can pre-order the shirt  11 days prior to its official release on June 3.
The Puma number is made up of the Gunners’ traditional red and white colours, and it features a vertical stripe down the centre of the shirt which is a darker shade of red.

Other shirt details include a distinctive vertical stripe down the front, a heat transfer gothic A on the reverse of the neck and a stitched V-neck and PUMA’s iconic T7 Form Stripe running along each sleeve.
The accompanying shorts are white with a red band along the side and the socks are red with the white PUMA cat on the front and have a white fold over top.
The short-sleeved replica shirt is available for N17,0 00 while the long-sleeved version can be purchased for about N18, 000. The authentic match shirt, however, will cost a staggering N30, 000.
