Messi and transfer conspiracy theories

The grapevine has been abuzz with the rumored exit of Argentine superstar from Barcelona and La liga on account of his tax case, for which he was supposedly jailed 21 months (he will not serve a day in jail).
But The Sun have reported that the 29-year-old Barcelona legend is carrying a grudge against the Catalan side because they weren’t too supportive during his trial.
And they added to the fire by saying his father (who was convicted along with him) has held talks with Mr. Chelsea, Roman Abramovich on a transfer to the London-based side.

The second side, which is said to have angered Messi, is the fact that Neymar has been given a contract that is bigger than his own. As the star of the side, Messi’s contract states that he must always be the highest earner in the Catalan side but he has supposedly been upstaged by the Brazilian, who is just 24.
You can read all you want into these theories but the transfer market is well and truly open and anything can happen. And money will always remain the name of the game!
