Transfer News:Dembele joins Efe Ambrose at Celtic
Moussa Dembele has joined Nigerian defender Efe Ambrose at Celtic as he completed a move from Fulham on Tuesday Celtic confirmed on their official website that Dembele has penned a four-year contract, beginning on July 1. The talented striker becomes Brendan Rodgers’ first signing of the summer and the highly-rated 19-year-old Frenchman will join up with his Ambrose and his other new team-mates for pre-season training in Slovenia.
Dembele joins the Hoops from English Championship side Fulham where he moved to at the age of 16 after starting his career in France with Paris Saint-Germain. The teenager enjoyed a successful debut campaign, winning the Premier Academy League with the club’s Under-18 team, before starring for the Cottagers in the Premier League and the Championship, where he scored 17 goals in all competitions last season.
