Transfer news: Chelsea open talks with Arsenal target Morata

Chelsea have opened talks with Juventus over Arsenal striker target Alvaro Morata and hope to clinch a deal before Euro 2016.
The Daily Telegraph report the Blues have made initial contact with the Serie A champions over Morata, although any deal would require his former club Real Madrid activating his buy-back clause before selling him on.

Chelsea, however, are undeterred by the complicated nature of the deal and are keen to find an agreement for the 23-year-old Spaniard before this summer’s European Championships.
Antonio Conte wants both Alvaro Morata and Romelu Lukaku in his Chelsea squad for next season.
Chelsea are keen to improve their firepower up front for next season and have stepped up their interest in Juventus striker Alvaro Morata and Everton forward Romelu Lukaku.
Morata, who excelled for Serie A champions Juventus last season and has long been a favourite of new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, and the current Italian national team coach has urged his Stamford Bridge employers to make sure they succeed in outbidding Real Madrid (who have a £23m buy-back clause) in the scrap for Morata’s signature.
Lukaku has also excelled since leaving Chelsea, but Conte believes that the Belgium international is perfect for his style of play and is keen to bring the youngster back to west London from Merseyside.
