NPFL: Enugu Rangers get car gifts
Enugu State governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has donated a Coaster bus as well as Saloon car to Enugu Rangers in his bid to further motivate the team in their quest to end their over three decades of trophy drought.
The Flying Antelopes are at the moment second on the log on the Nigeria Professional Football League table and they will be facing table-toppers Wikki Tourists in their next game.
Club officials said the 30-seater coaster bus donated by the governor is to further ease the travelling of the team while the car donated is for head coach, Imama Amapakabo who has been simply phenomenal since taking the reins of leadership at the Coal City club,
Meanwhile, the Enugu Governor has also revealed his administration’s plan to send a bill to the state House of Assembly to liberalise the ownership of Enugu Rangers FC.
This according to the Governor is to enable public and corporate organisations fund and become co-owners of the Club for a more result-oriented output that will be the toast of sports lovers in the state and beyond.
