Nigerian star hot property in transfer market
Southampton, Arsenal, West Ham and Crystal Palace are
reportedly interested in Wolverhampton full-back Dominic Iorfa,
according Sky Sports.
Iorfa was an ever present in the Wolves side last season and reportedly his asking price would be £7m.
He is still eligible to represent Nigeria at full international level and a ‘family source’ is quoted as saying: “It’s true that Iorfa is wanted by Southampton, Arsenal, West Ham and Crystal Palace but for obvious reasons he is more comfortable with a move to West Ham where he is most likely to get more playing time.”
Meanwhile, West Ham are reported to be Iorfa’s preferred destination should he leave Wolves where he stars alongside Super Eagles’ goalkeeper Carl Ikeme.
It is thought Wolves will want at least £7m for the 20-year-old defender, who featured more times than any other player last season with 46 appearances in all competitions.
