Lazio set to announce new boss for Onazi, others

Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi and his Lazio team-mates are bracing up for a club announcement late on Tuesday as the Italian side get set to officially announce Simone Inzaghi successor.
Lazio’s secretary general Armando Calveri according to LaLazioSiamoNoi.it returned from Argentina today, allegedly with the signed contract of incoming Coach Marcelo Bielsa.
Calveri landed in Rome today, and is believed to have taken a copy of the contract signed by Bielsa.
“I can’t tell you anything. The president will shortly communicate what he has to.

“I don’t think Bielsa needs any presentations, facts speak for him. No, I can’t tell you whether anything will be announced within 24 hours, you can ask the president.”
Multiple sources reported yesterday that the deal between the South American tactician and the Biancocelesti is done, and that the former will fly in to Italy to take charge of his team.
The contract must now be counter-signed by Lazio president Claudio Lotito, after which the club is expected to release an official statement to introduce the new Coach.
