Chukwueze attracts Monaco interest

Top French Ligue 1 club AS Monaco has tabled a bid for on-form Nigeria U20 star Samuel Chukwueze after his proposed switch to Arsenal fell through.
The dazzling winger is already been courted by Portuguese giants FC Porto.
“Monaco have made Chukwueze a good offer and it is left for his academy to decide on it now,” a top source said yesterday.“The owner of the academy just returned from Europe at the weekend or so and a decision is to be taken shortly,” according to AfricanFootball.com.

Chukwueze is expected to star in the Flying Eagles U20 AFCON qualifier second leg match against Burundi on Saturday in Calabar.
He was third best scorer at last year’s U17 World Cup in Chile.
