2018 World Cup draws: CAF pays tribute to Keshi

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) honoured late Super Eagles manager Stephen Keshi who passed on this year.
The news of Keshi’s death came as a huge shock to the football world as he died of heart-attack, just six months after the wife passed away leaving behind four children.
“Even if Stephen Keshi left us too early, he achieved an incredible career, both as a player and as a coach. He was a Jewel,” CAF president Issa Hayatou said as a minute’s silence observed to.

Keshi won the African Nations Cup with Nigeria for the third time in 2013 after 19 years and became the second indigenous manager to take the Super Eagles to the FIFA World Cup where he qualified the team to the second round before losing out to France.
